We have endeavoured to analyse the past management of a selected sample of research objects through selected quantitative indicators of a benchmarking nature, as well as the discovery of positive and negative factors that had a significant impact on the overall management. A well-performed financial analysis should emphasize, above all, the elimination of the effects of negative factors and at the same time support the positive effects on the management of local units.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Key words: <\/em><\/strong><em><em>Local government.
